HP PRESARIO C571N/R review

A couple of months ago i was searching for cheap laptops with great price and decent screen and i’ve bought this HP Presario C571NR. After using it for more than 6 months i think it’s perfect for my needs. A lot of cheap laptops are made only from plastic but this one looks really solid in feeling and touch because it has metal casing in some parts. All things are properly placed and the extra functions keys provide some conveniences. Windows Vista is running really well and even though it takes a lot of memory the laptop still works pretty fast with 2 GB of RAM. If you need a laptop to surf the web and write some texts this one will please you a lot.

For this price it’s one of the best discount laptops on the market. With a slick design and pretty light you can take it anywhere you go and the DVD-RW is surely a plus. You can’t expect to play the latest games with it but you can upgrade it as you wish. I think the battery is not too great but for this price it’s a good buy.

Fujitsu-Siemens - Amilo Pro V3515Fujitsu Siemens claims that its Amilo Pro V3515 is “designed to deliver breath-taking performance.” Sad to report that our review model fell well short of that claim, due to the choice of processor. Although it costs just £333 (including VAT), shopping around you will find other laptops in the same price bracket but with faster processors and better specifications.

It’s a big old beast weighing in at 3.15kg (including AC adapter) so it’s not one you’ll want to carry around all day. Read the rest of this entry »
